All type of Braces Available
Orthodontics for Adult and Young
Are you considering Invisalign braces? Invisalign is a type of orthodontic treatment that helps straighten your teeth without the use of the typical metal braces. Invisalign has quickly revolutionized the orthodontics world with their aesthetic technology. Now, many patients have a different option besides the traditional metal or ceramic brackets.
Invisalign involves wearing a series of custom-made clear plastic aligners that help shift your teeth into the proper position. Many of our patients are now considering Invisalign more than ever before. Call our dental office to see if Invisalign is the right choice for you.
The most common type of braces are traditional braces. These braces are more comfortable today and ever before; Made of high-grade stainless steel, teeth are gently guided into position using metal brackets and arch-wires. When our patients choose traditional braces, they have the choice of adding colored rubber bands for a more unique and colorful smile that reflects your individuality. Most of our teenagers love the colorful elastic bands on their braces.
Self-ligating braces just like regular braces and they are placed the same way, with the exception of ligature. There are no rubber or elastic bands or metal ties attaching this type of braces because they are not needed. Instead, special clips or brackets are used to help the arch-wire move your teeth into place and leave you with the same results as other traditional or ceramic braces. These type of braces are the most used by patients in our practice in Hollywood, Florida.
CERAMIC BRACES OR CLEAR BRACES
Ceramic braces or Clear braces are the most popular in our office. Every patient loves these due to the fact that they are less visible on your teeth than our traditional braces option. Usually these kind of braces are used mainly by our older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic brackets are larger. If you are a patient with cosmetic concerns and would love to get braces, then ceramic or clear braces may be the best option for you.
